A big BONK!

Maya was laying on the bed yesterday, she must have been a little to close to the edge cause she rolled off and his Robb's side glass table. She had a BIG bump, but my little girl is a trooper. After an hour or so she was back to her normal self, just pointing out that she had a big boo boo.
I was more scared than she was.

The next NASTIA LIUKIN!!!!

We are all sad that the Olympics have come to a close. We watched them ritually every night. Noah and Maya especially loved the gymnastics, or as Maya calls it "Nastics". The other night she was on top of her block table and she kept telling us she was doing "nastics". She is definetly a gymnastics olympian in the making. Here are some of her moves I caught.

Posing on her balance beam at the beggining of her routine.
Going for a handstand maybe??? or a flip??

Doing the splits?

Can we say F-U-N!!!

Robb told me about a great park that was just built that had great water sprayers. I decided to take the kids there since it was like 100 something degrees that day. We got there and there were water sprayers and little wading pools for them to play in. It was great, even though I melted watching them.. hee hee.

Oh what fun!

Noah and Maya waiting patiently for the train to arrive at the park!
Up close on the swings!!
About to leave on the train...

Playing Mommy!

I just know Maya is going to be a great mommy's helper when the baby comes. The other day I caught her in the living room with the following items: Diaper wipe cream, a diaper, and a few of Daddy's smurfs. I took this picture and then asked her what she was doing and she told me the baby's needed new diapers. I love her!

Good ole' days..

Robb had been on this cleaning kick this weekend, I mean he was vacuming, sorting, and going through high school and college things. He was cleaning in the garage this evening and the kids found some ants. I told them to get dad and have him come spray them and from around the corner I see a plum color. Robb comes around the corner dressed in his high school graduation attire, cap and gown! It was the funniest things ever.

She had her Kitties!

So sometime last night or early this morning our cat Ming had her kittens. I was sleeping and dreaming when all the sudden in my dream I heard a little kitty meow. As soon as I felt Robb get up I knew it was not in my dream and she had had kittens. We looked on Robb's side of the closet and low and behold she had had them. She found a box tuck in the side of his closet. We looked in and saw 4 new babies. She had just given birth to the last one, the one that woke us up. It was so amazing to see her there with those little kitties. She is such a good mama cat.
Props to her for breastfeeding 4 babies!!!
She is doing exactly what every pregnant person should do, sleep as much as you can before you have a baby, and in her case 4 of them.
The kids just love the new little kitties. The one in Noah's lap just slep there while the little black one in Maya's lap kept squeeling.
She is such a good little mommy.

A rare sight!

This is definitely a rare sight! Maya always wants me to put her hair in a little water spout on the top of her head, but tonight, I kept telling her, you'll have to wait, when she would ask me to put her hair up. I love her hair down, its so CUTE! I think maybe i should just throw out the little hair things so she wont ask.

What do you think?

We decided to paint the front porch. We used a brown color as the base and painted a green stripe as well. Finishing up with a light tan trim.
What do you think? I love it.

Do you have your copy yet?

I was so excited yesterday. My patience has paid off. About 6 months ago I reserved my copy of "Breaking Dawn" at Borders. I went in yesterday to get my wristband to all the people who reserved books. I was a little nervous to see what number in line I was going to get but YIPEE i got #20, that means I was in the first group of 25 to buy the book. So, last night Robb and I stayed up till midnight. I conned him into going to get it for me. I WAS SO EXCITED TO GET THE BOOK. I have been waiting a long time for it. Hopefully, it is everything I hope it will be.

DO YOU HAVE YOURS YET?
