My Maya

I love my Maya, here are some cute little pictures of her. I love her so much, and my Noah, but she is just plain silly sometimes.

She was outside and came inside and said "Mommy, Mommy!!! look at me" and she had these silly goggles on... I couldn't help but laugh, her hair topped it off..

The other picture is she is being a puppet master with her elephant puppet.... She kept asking me to take a picture of her... silly Maya Maya...

My Little Cooks

Today, the kids wanted to make a cake.
Although, Maya wanted to make brownies and Noah wanted a white cake, so I let them each make their own desserts. Here are some pictures of them cooking. I just love it!

Kung Fu Panda!

On Saturday, we took the kids to see Kung Fu Panda.
They just loved it, It was a great movie. A great movie for kids.
Noah came home and was trying to do some Kung Fu moves and I asked
him if he was a Kung Fu Fighter and still answered that he was a Power Ranger.

Mommy got a calling.

I finally got a calling. I am a Enrichment Specialist now! I think it is going to be fun, planning different activities for Enrichment with my frends in church.

Happy Birthday Robb!

Happy Birthday Robb!!!

Singing happy birthday to daddy.
The finished cake that the kids and I made for dad.
Noah and Maya mixing the cake batter.
Here is one of two Adirondack Chairs that we gave daddy for his birthday.
It took me about 2 hours to put one together with a hand screwdriver. Here it is with the first coat of stain. Luckily, I plugged in the drill to do number two for him today.

Hair Crazy

The kids had fun this weekend with Aunt Tia doing their hair. Check out these crazy shots.

A night away from it all!

Friday, we had a night away from it all. I had made reservations back in February that I change to Father's Day weekend at the Mansion at Judges Hill. It was a beautiful hotel/bed and breakfast. We enjoyed going out to dinner just the 2 of us. It was a great way to end the week, I slept the whole night. That has been something that I haven't seen in probably 2 years (since Maya has taken up hogging our bed).

12 weeks!

12 weeks.... and 28 to go...
Today we went to the dr. and got another sonogram. This sonogram was to measure the fluid behind the spinal cord to detect down syndrome. Noah was very excited. He is totally convinced he is having a brother, which I am hoping for as well :) It was so neat to see the baby on the screen even though all of this is still a major Font sizeshock to me. I was in awe at how much the baby was wiggling and jumping around, I just couldn't believe it. I had never seen that with Maya and Noah during their pregnancy. I wonder what that means!?!?

Fun times in the ER!

On Tuesday night Noah was complaining so bad that his tummy hurt. Mind you he had been complaining since Friday, the week before. I had taken him to the Dr. Monday morning and they said that maybe he had had a stomach virus and there might be acid left over and it was hurting. They had prescribed Prevacid to try and see if it would stop hurting. Unfortunately, the next two days on the medicine showed no change. Tuesday at midnight he was still awake crying hysterically that he was hurting. I made a decision to take him to the Children's Hospital. Long story short, they took xrays and gave him a mixture of mallox, lidicane, and something else to try and help his stomach, which he spit in my face since he was fighting to take it, and then by 5:30 he was sound asleep passed out on the hospital bed. Xrays didn't show much since what they said he need was a Cat Scan of his stomach. They said that his intestines was majorly backed up and with his history he needed to go back to his gastroenterologist. I was so tired Wednsday that I could barely make it through the day. We are scheduled to see the GI doctor July 2nd to see what we discover with Noah's tummy and insides.

Sea World Adventure

Yesterday, the kids and I ventured to Sea World. Amie and one of her friends came along for the adventure. Although, the night before I was up most of the night with Noah and his stomach ache, and we had a 7am dr. appt. we got there and the kids had a blast. They had never seen Shamu, let alone a whale that big. We sat in the splash zone and got completely soaked by him. After getting splashed several times, the kids were pretty freaked out. Noah rode his first little roller coaster with me... I felt a little sick afterward, even thought it was a kiddie coaster. The kids and I enjoyed a dolphin show, and an upclose view of dolphins. We got to play at the water park, and see the shark cove and coral reef. I hadn't been to Sea World in years! It was great to take the kids and see them enjoy it. Here are some fun pictures.

This was Maya happy before Shamu decided to come out and splashed us! ( The water was Freezing!!!) They were so excited to see the huge whales.
Shot of Shamu. (That's how close we were)

Upclose with the dolphin. You could buy 4 fish for $5 bucks to feed them, we passed, but enjoyed being inches from them!
Just arriving at the park, it was hot yesterday!
Happy 20th Birthday Sea World... Shamu!

The little Shamu Coaster that Noah and I rode on.
Noah anticipating the shamu ride!

Noah's Class Pool Party

Last friday, Noah's class had a pool party to end the school year. Noah is doing so good swimming. He loves to swim alone with his floaties. He loves to show you that he can hold his breath under water. We had a good time hanging out with his friends and teachers before the start of the summer.
