Happy 100th day party!

Every year Noah's classroom celebrates the 100th day of school with a party to celebrate 100 days of being in school! He had a lot of fune, especially because he didn't have his little sister hanging over his shoulder :) (She was in her own class) We had a lot of fun! Here are some neat pictures. They did some neat project stations. They strung 100 fruit loops on a string, stamp 100 stamps, were able to count out 100 snacks, make a sticker hat with the letter 100 and place 100 stickers around it, and draw a picture of what they would buy with 100 dollars. (Noah said he would buy a boat and a dollar) All these stations were to help them count to 100. 10 stamps in 10 different shapes, counting 10 pieces of each snack with 10 different snacks. Its a great way to help them learn to count. We have decided Noah will attend Athena Montessori one more year, Maya and Noah will share a class together, I am very excited !!!! The kids even counted to 50 in french and then the other 50 in english!!!

Cash 4 gold!

So during the football game we saw multiple ads for Cash 4 gold. You can send in any gold, silver, or platinum. So Robb decided to call in get a package to send in some stuff. We decided to see who would get more money, him or myself. Well, he sent his off and got $14 dollars. I was sure that the stuff i sent in would produce a bigger lump some of money in my pocket. So the wait was on and the day came on saturday. I opened up the envelope with much anticipation of saying haha i got more. NOPE I got a measley $7.75! Dang!

Happy 2 Months!!

Happy 2 months to Tristan! Yup thats right, already 2 months old. Next thing i know he is going to be crawling!!! He has definetly changed in the last 2 months, for sure! We went to the dr. today and he weighs 14lbs 11oz. YuP! and he is already 24 3/4 inches long, in 95% for height and weight! We got him a bumbo yesterday and he can sit in it for about 10 min before his head starts to get heavy, oh ya, his head is in the 95% as well. Haha. He is definetly changing like i said before. He is cooing and try to communicate with us! The dr. said that he might have a lazy eye that he will recheck in 2 months, Ive never noticed that, and also has a bulging head on one side. So our homework is to make him lay on the other side of his head so he doesn't end up having to wear a helmet.

i think Tristan is going to end up sucking his thumb! We will see, for now doesn't it look so cute, their thumbs are so tiny for such a big mouth :)

The first Guhh!

This picture just doesn't do justice! I call this picture the first Guhh, although i dont know if that is how you spell that word. Robb was talking with Tristan last night and he was actually responding, I just love that he is starting to come to life. I really need to keep my camera handy now, instead of taking pictures with my phone, man i wish the iphone had a video application.

UT vs. AtM Swim Meet

We were lucky to get to go with Tia to the UT vs AtM swim meet at the University of Texas. We thought it was so neat to be able to go. I was so excited. Here are some fun pictures.

I am growing up so FAST!!!!

Here are some fun pictures of Tristan. In just 10 short days he will already be 2 months old. Amazing how time really does fly by. Many people have commented that he looks like he is 3-4 months old. What do you think? He is starting to smile a little more every day, you really have to work it out of him, and he is starting to wiggle more and more instead of just lay there like a lump!

Gifts from Dubai!

We recieved some neat gifts from Grandma Buchanan and Aunt Heather and Tia from their trip to Dubai and the middle east. Here Maya is wearing a silky black dress with scarf, and Noah in a dishdash. Robb got a dishdash as well and I got some neat pillow covers and very pretty scarf. Noah even went to school wearing it to show his whole class.
