Day 11 after Surgery!

Day 11 Ankle Shots! I've still been in a lot of pain, but taking it slow everyday!

Random Pictures

The one day I got out with Collette, I rode the Target Scooter, wow, I felt so IN CONTROL!!

Maya playing around with my crutches!

Ankle Surgery

Yes, unfortunately I had to end up having reconstructive ankle surgery due to 2 torn tendons. It's crazy how supposedly a sprain from over 2 years ago ended with me having ankle surgery. The surgery went fine with only a few hiccups i am home recovering. I found out that I cannot drive for 3.5 weeks, which was a complete shock to me. Being stuck at home has its advantages but its disadvantages.. After a week in crutches and a cast wrap I am not in a walking boot. I take the boot off 3 times a day and stretch for 5 minutes. Its been difficult at times, but at this point what i tell myself is to take one day at a time.

My temporary cast.

The day i got my walking boot.... I don't look to happy, I was in a lot of pain!!!

The inner part of my foot (1/14/10)
The outer part of my ankle (1/14/10) First time to see my foot since surgery.

13 months old!

It's so crazy to think that Tristan is 13 months old now... he has definetly changed over the last few months. He is the fastest crawler in the west hands down!!! He can speak a few more words, and he has taken more steps on his own, but not walking just yet! I'll keep everyone updated the minute he decides to walk on his own!

Noah lost his first tooth!!!

So Noah finally Lost his first tooth! Now, its didn't just "fall" out! No, this little booger was loose for about 3 months! Finally one day he came home from school and said "Mommy, my tooth is really loose and it hurts me"!! That evening sure enough i had to help him get that sucker out... so Paige, sorry for thinking that helping pull those little nasty guys out was bad, cause sometimes they just need a little tug!

What a DIVA!!

I just love this picture! It really captures the true essense of "Maya", her personality and happiness within!!!

San Antonio Trip..

We got to my grandparents house a little early, and so the kids enjoy climbing and playing. Reminds me when i was there age climbing those old trees and playing out there! It was a great visit...

Visiting the Sinclairs

Last saturday we went up to san antonio to the sinclair house to meet baby Quinten. He sure was a sweet little baby... it was neat to see Maya handle him just like one of her own little dolls.. We got to see Heidi which was a real treat... we love her lots but don't get to see her often... And Paige made some of the best chicken noodle soup I had ever had. Thanks guys for all the great gifts and thanks for the company... you guys have such a beautiful family!
