I am 2 weeks old!

It is hard to believe that Tristan is already 2 weeks old! He had his dr. apt and is now up to 9lbs 7oz and is 22 inches long.

Christmas Day

Here are a few pictures from Christmas Day. We had a pretty relaxing morning opening gifts and spending time toghether. My family showed up around 11am and we opened more gifts with them and ate a good christmas lunch together.

1 week Checkup!

We had our 1 week checkup for Tristan last week. Here is a picture of him getting weighed. He weighed in at 8lbs 14oz.

The kids have waited so long for Tristan to get here! They are such great helpers and I love my kids so much! Here is a shot of Maya helping change one of many diapers so far!

We decided to take a walk through Botanical Gardens today with the kids and take some pictures. It was nice to get out for an hour or so and get fresh air and take a walk with the kids before it gets in the 40s tommorrow!

Tristan Gabriel Buchanan

Meet Tristan Gabriel Buchanan! Born December 15, 2008 weight 9lbs 6 oz and 21.5 inches long. After 9 months of much anticipation he is finally here. I just love him so much and so do the kids! Here are a bunch of pictures from the past few days. Enjoy and we will keep you posted!

Last post as a family of 4!!!

Well, this is the last post before we become a family of 5! I have definetly been in a cleaning frenzy the past week, cleaning the same stuff over and over again!! Tommorrow is D Day, or should I say B day. We are to be at the hospital at 7:30am tommorrow for our scheduled 9:30am Csection. Thanks to all the early blessings and prayers, we definetly need them.

Celebrating the Christmas Season

Noahs class celebrated the christmas season with a morning filled of fun christmas activities. They decorated mini gingerbread houses, made reindeer with cutouts from their hands and feet, orange fruit ornaments, stringing popcorn and cranberries for the squirrels and birds and enjoying a christmas story with hot cocoa.

DONT WANT TO FORGET THAT THEY ALL GOT TO WEAR JAMMIES TO SCHOOL!!!

A cracked head??

One night Maya climbed on the counter to find a bandaid. I figured nothing of it since she loves to take bandaid and open them and then mess around with them till they dont amuse her anymore and she throws them away. Well, she took the bandaid and slapped it on her forehead and was walking around with it most of the night. She took her bath and I figured it would get yucky and she would take it off, NOPE after Robb helped her get dressed and climb in bed I still saw it on her head. I asked her what happened to her head, she told me she had CRACKED HER HEAD!! silly girl!!

With only 7 more days in our countdown, my list of stuff to get done has now been started. Pretty toenails, check! The list doesnt stop there though! So much to do. It seems so surreal to know that this is the last week that we will be a family of 4. I get butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it honestly. One day at a time and deep breaths, and trying not to worry about a dirty house and stacking laundry is the mode I need to tune into. With a busy week ahead, keep us in your prayers.

Almost there.... 12 days to go!

Well, we have 12 days left in our countdown to Tristan arriving. I can barely believe that the end is near, although it seems to be going so slow. I can tell the end is near cause my legs, fingers, hands, and face continually stay swollen. I am anticipating the heartburn to disappear and the constant bathroom runs! I keep telling myself that I never thought the end would come but now it is upon us!!

We are scheduled for a CSection on December 15th at 9:30am. So much to do in so little time!!!
